Step 1 Mix Dry Ingredients
Take a large bowl, add maida, sooji, ajwain and salt.
Step 2 Add Ghee
Add sunflower oil or maida and mix all the ingredients until they look like bread crumbs.
Step 3 Knead Dough
Start kneading the dough by slowly adding the water. Once you are done with the kneading, let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
Step 4 Roll Dough
Divide the dough into equal small balls and roll the balls into thin discs.
Step 5 Cut Shapes
Take a knife and cut the disc into eual sized pieces. You can choose the shape as per your liking.
Step 6 Heat Oil
Take a deep pan and heat the oil on medium heat.
Step 7 Fry Namak Pare
Now fry the pieces in batches until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Step 8 Cool and Store
Let them cool down completely before storing in an airtight container.
